An MTM tower design using the Audax TMO25F1 tweeter, and two Seas P17RE/TV (H629) mid-woofers in a ported enclosure. The crossover point is 2,500 hz. The high pass is a third order network, while the low pass is a second order with zobel. The networks were originally text book values, although now the high pass network has been modified with a smaller inductor, and a larger second cap. This produces a smoother roll off than the text book design, because of the impedance peak at resonance. Here is an in-room response measurement that is probably good down to 200 hz.

I do favor the sound of these speakers to the sound of my MT budget speakers, but only slightly. The imaging is amazing, although this is somewhat amplifier dependent. With my Outlaw, it's great, but with a $200 kenwood unit, it is not as good. That might be because the kenwood is not rated for four ohms. The clarity is also very good, and I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that there is no L-pad on the tweeter. I am not including full design details at this time, and I wont unless others express some interest in them.
